1943 General Electric Radio Television 2 Vintage Ads.
A long handclasp on a short wave. On an island in the Pacific a soldier turns a dial. Over the balmy air comes a golden song. General Electric short wave stations are one link with home for many soldiers and sailors. Daily, a roundup of news, dance music and sports results is broadcast.

Vintage war time print display magazine advertising from 1943 featuring some memorable products and companies. Some ads from this year have a WW II theme or at least mention the war time effort. Several ads ask the reader to Buy War Bonds And Stamps Regularly. Quite common for some companies to do double duty during war years, like Hamilton switching from making watches to making instrumentation or the railroads running extra trains for war time supplies and troop movement trains.
