OTHER:   Lentils grow in pods on a bush-type plants. They are a legume, so can help improve the soil’s nitrogen levels. They are most commonly used in Lentil soup, although there are a ton of other great recipes out there! They have a great nutty flavor when they are cooked. They can also be grown for sprouts which have a different flavor than lentils that have not been sprouted. Lentils are high in fiber,  protein, iron, & many other vitamins & minerals. They are gluten free, & are excellent for vegetarian or vegan diets.
