THE DEEP BLUE SEA by Charles Williams

Signet Books, First Edition, March 1971

Condition: Very Good+ to Near Fine

Charles Williams is regarded as one of the finest suspense writers of the '50s and '60s.  A dozen of his hard-boiled crime novels were filmed.  Yet the majority of his books were published by paperback imprints, principally Gold Medal Books.  His fellow Gold Medal aurhor John D. MacDonald called him one of the most undeservedly neglected writers of his generation.  Williams committed suicide in 1975.  This was his last paperback original and his second-last book.  Modest corner/edge/spine wear; a tight, square, unmarked copy.
