Vtg Chinese Rice Bowl w/Spoon,Vtg Chinese Soup Bowl w/ Spoon,
RED CHINA STAMP !
traditional wisdom has it that between around 1890
until c. 1920 all Chinese items that were to be imported
into the US was required to be marked
with the word "CHINA" as the country of origin
(U.S. Stamp Act of 1894).
Marked/Stamped CHINA on the bottom ( IN RED)
my understanding is this stamp dates to
the late 19th or early 20th century .....
but..... i am not an expert on chinese porcelain
Bowl & spoon has outstanding color inside & out
floral design, & geometric design on rim
