The unique square shape for this embossed bread and butter plate makes it a keeper.  Harker Pottery Company manufactured this design 1950 through 1960 when it was discontinued.  A circular vignette shows the image of a couple is dressed in traditional colonial finery by Louis Godey.  The maker's mark shows 22 K gold which shines through in the lace like detail and scalloped edge.   There is a small spot of brown of discoloration. No cracks, chips, crazing or repairs.  Measures 6 3/4" x 6 3/4". Insurance is included in postage.
