Scarce Vintage 1954 ISRAEL 50 Pruta COIN Grade VF

 

I am offering the scarce 1954 Israeli 50 pruta coin in VF condition.
 
Obverse: Vine leaf; "Israel" in Hebrew and Arabic.
Coin from the war of the Jews against Rome (66 - 70 C.E.).

Reverse: The denomination "50 Pruta" and the date in Hebrew; two stylized olive branches around the rim.
 
Alloy: Copper 75%, nickel 25%.
Edge: smooth.

Date of issue: May 11, 1954.

Size: 23.5 mm diameter. 5.6 grams.

As a coin collector I DO NOT clean any of my coins to preserve the original patina, if you wish to clean the coin/s I will leave it up to you.
