Here is a nice necklace in 925 sterling silver made entirely by hand (pendant, chain and clasp). This one is decorated with 2 semi-precious stones, a small onyx and a golden obsidian.

The silver of this jewel has been patinated. Patina is a technique used which has the effect of oxidizing certain metals. The oxidation of a jewel is seen by the presence of blackish hues on the metal. This technique makes it possible to highlight the different textures of a jewel and sometimes to enhance the colors of certain stones. Therefore, the jewelry worn is highlighted.

Elle en rehausse leur eclat et leur brillance. Elle permet aussi de retarder le processus d'oxydation de l'argent qui se fait naturellement au contact de l'oxygene contenu dans l'air.
