#D3052 Complete Set of 4 Decorative Wildlife Butterflies Coasters and/or Ashtrays by Viking Art Glass

In 1982 Viking began decorating more and more pieces.
These Coaster/Ashtray combinations are from a part of a series of 6 different designs.
"Decorating as well as functional, with realistic motifs to please everyone" were the words Viking used in the Catalog.
These darling functional four coasters/ashtrays are adorned with different images of butterflies in their natural wildlife habitat.
There are 3 slight notches in the top rims that made them function as an ashtray or a drink coaster.
A truly adorable set for the butterfly lover and collector !!!
Verified via the Viking Arts Glass Society and the 1982 Viking Catalog.
Age: 1982.
Material: Glass, Hand Made.
Color: Clear, Gold and Butterfly Print.
Makers Mark: Viking Factory Label (on one coaster).
Measures: 3 3/4" diameter x 3/4" tall.
Butterfly graphic prints have no discoloration, fading, flaws or scratches.
Gold Trim shows no noticeable wear or tarnish.
Pristine New Condition (In Factory Box): No chips, cracks, fleabites, nicks, repairs, scratches or stains.
There may/may not be some tiny embedded bubbles and/or straw marks (creases) which is normal with glass from this era.
