The now deceased relative who had this in her box of needlework projects, was born in the late 1800s. She was in a nursing home from the 1980s and all her things have been in storage until now.

She was quite skilled in sewing, crafts and needlework including embroidery and crochet. This appears to be one of her handmade pieces.

It measures 11 inches by 13 inches and may have been part of a larger project or intended for a table mat, placemat or doily. It has diamond pattern.

It shows signs of aging including stain and discoloration and needs cleaning, starching, blocking or whatever is appropriate for the project in mind.

Please examine the photos, they are part of the description.
