The now deceased relative who had this in her box of needlework projects, was born in the late 1800s. She was in a nursing home from the 1980s and all her things have been in storage until now.

She was quite skilled in sewing, crafts and needlework including embroidery and crochet. This item appears to be one of her handmade pieces though it may have been made by her mother.

The item measures 10 inches in diameter and needs repair in the crocheted edging which is probably why it was in her box of projects.

It shows signs of aging and use including stains.
