Description

Offered here is this Lovely Clear Pressed Glass Cruet Decanter with Solid Glass Stopper.  The piece itself is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks.  There is a distinct 'scar' at the bottom where it was removed from the mold.  The bottom of the stopper has some flea bites around the edges as well as a 'scar' from breaking it off the mold.  It also has a small chip at the top of the 'cork' portion.  I am unsure of the exact age of the bottle, but it is obviously very old, and is beginning to turn purple.  I would guess that it dates to the late 19th Century.  It is a beautiful pattern with Victorian flare.  It is 6.5" tall at the top of the stopper, 5" tall at the spout, 4.5" deep, 2" in diameter spout to handle, 3" in diameter at the base.  It is a fabulous antique pressed glass cruet.  What a lovely piece to add to your Victorian Glass Collection.
