$500, $1,000, $5,000, and $10,000 Bills are no longer in circulation. John Marshall, Supreme Court Chief Justice in the 19th Century, is featured on the face of the $500 Bill. Grover Cleveland, 22nd and 24th president is portrayed on the $1,000 Bill. President James Madison in on the $5,000 Bill. Salmon P. Chase, Secretary of the Treasury under Lincoln is featured on the $10,000 Bill.  Pre-1928 US Currency was larger than it is today. They are commonly referred to as "Horseblankets". 

The US Government began withdrawing all large denomination bills from circulation in 1969. None have been printed since 1945. All large denomination bills command a premium over face value. You can own a copies for the fraction of the price of a real one.

These reproductions are created using high resolution scans, not fuzzy images found online. Take a look at the pictures, in particular, the closeups. You will see detail others do not have. 

These are replicas of actual bills, printed on high quality 100% cotton paper. Each side is printed on a separate sheet per policy and to comply with Federal law, LARGER (1.5x) than the actual note.
