Welcome to my ROUGH ROOM.  Here you will find toys that don't meet my exacting standards of VG+ and above.  I don't have the heart to throw them out since they still have a lot of play value left.  Items in my ROUGH ROOM are discounted from what I normally charge for the same item.  To keep the prices down, I do not spend any time Q-tip cleaning these items.  Therefore, it is up to the buyer to clean them on receipt.  I would consider this set to be in Good-VG condition.

 

Noted aberrations include:

 

1.  A melt mark on the front edge of the brown roof on the green half of the house;

2.  A repaired break on the left side anchor of the handle; I did not make this repair; this is how the set came to me; I cannot vouch that it will hold under heavy use;

3.  Multiple bubbles on the floor litho of Mr. Hooper's store;

4.  Some light stains on the floor litho of Bert and Ernie's bedroom; and

5.  A brown stain on the lower left-hand corner of the main Fisher Price logo.

 

Remember, this Vintage Fisher Price Little People play set is NOT included in the recent Fisher Price recall of toys manufactured in China. This play set was manufactured in the good ole' U.S.A. in 1975-76!!!! It's 45 years young and still exemplifies Fisher Price's reputation for imaginative, durable toys. Why take a chance on buying a new toy that may contain unacceptable levels of lead or cadium in them when you can purchase a CLASSIC toy like this that was produced with pride and integrity in the U.S.A.? 

 

Collectors, this would make a great set for your grandchildren to play with instead of your collector-quality Fisher Price play sets.

 

Depending on the buyer's location, I will be shipping this base via the USPS Priority Mail or Fed Ex Home Delivery.  In order to ship via Fed Ex, I must have a residential address, not a P.O. Box.  In addition, I must have a contact phone number (e.g. home, cell, or workplace) to put on Fed Ex's paperwork.  Otherwise, they will not accept the package for delivery.

 

This base is heavy --approximately 6 1/2 lbs. UNWRAPPED.  My location is Lafayette, IN 47905.

Packages traveling to Alaska or Hawaii will be shipped Parcel Post via the USPS. Insurance and delivery confirmation are required.

I’m more than willing to combine multiple purchases into one box whenever it is safe to do so to decrease your shipping costs. Once again, PLEASE wait to check out until I can combine your purchases on ONE INVOICE and can calculate their combined shipping rate via Fed Ex. If you pay for these items separately, I get charged multiple transaction fees by PayPal plus you get over-charged on your shipping. Of course, I will refund you any amount over $1.00 that you've overpaid on shipping. However, it's easier on both of us if you wait until I can send you the correct amount.

I’m more than happy to ship selected play sets to Canada. Remember that shipping to Canada can be quite expensive so please contact me for a shipping quote before you purchase an item. I will attempt to find the cheapest shipping rate possible. Canadian customers will be responsible for any brokerage fees, Custom’s duties, or VAT’s imposed by your government. I am not responsible for these charges. Insurance is required for all international shipments.

Last, but not least, I offer a 10% discount for orders totaling $125.00 or more.
