Irving Cummings (October 9, 1888 - April 18, 1959) Fernando Lamas (January 9, 1916 - October 8, 1982) and Arlene Dahl autographed vintage 1950s album page 3 7/8" x 5 3/4" hand signed on each side in blue ink with Cummings adding Fox. Arlene Dahl was married to Fernando Lamas at this time. Irving Cummings began his career as an actor on the Broadway stage in his late teens, and appeared with the legendary Lillian Russell's company. He became a very popular leading man in the early 1920s. He began directing at around that time, turning out mostly action films and an occasional comedy, but he really came into his own in the 1930s at 20th Century - Fox. He specialized in the big, splashy Technicolor musicals for which fox became known, and was responsible for many of Betty Grable's, Alice Faye's and Shirley Temple's most enjoyable films. Fernando Lamas was an Argentine-born actor. Known for The Cheap Detective, The Law and The Lady, The Merry Widow and others. The page will come in a clear hard top load for display.
