Vintage 11.5" Chinese Gu Yue Xuan Vases Pair with Wood Stands and Fancy Fabric-Covered Wood Boxes

My first husband was an economics consultant and traveled to remote areas of China in the 1980s. On those trips he brought back a treasure trove of  Asian art objects.  He purchased this pair of hand-painted porcelain vases on one of those trips for us to give to my parents as an anniversary gift.  My mom died in 2015 and my dad in 2017, so the vases have been back with me since then and displayed on top of my china cabinet. The two vases have different scenes in the white oval panels on the sides. One has pictures of ladies in kimonos. The other has a more scenic view. Each vase stands 11.5 inches tall on its wooden decorative base and is about 4.5 inches in diameter at its widest point. The original stickers are still on the bottoms of the vases, as shown. I am told that these say Gu Yue Xuan. Each vase still has its original fabric-covered, satin-lined and padded wood box with slide-off top and another lift-off top under that. Very elegant!  The vases are in like-new condition in their fancy case boxes and will come to you carefully packed via USPS Priority mail.

Shipping charges are not refundable.  Buyer pays for return shipping with a tracking number.  If free shipping is initially provided and the item is returned, the refund will be for the price minus original shipping costs.  Buyers  should contact me immediately upon receipt of their items if there is a problem.   Returns must be received back by me within 30 days of purchase.
