Mechanical Power Transmission by Douglas C. Greenwood (1962 HC w/o DJ)

This book is for every person who is technically involved, one way or another, with machinery that uses or transmits mechanical power.  Whether responsible for design, assembly, maintenance, assessment or specification of machinery, each person must become their own expert regarding precision requirements, cost restrictions, life expectancy, service and safety condition requirements or any of the myriad of concerns affecting practical operations.

The book has 12 chapters arranged under 6 topics: Belt and Chain Drives; Shafting and Seals; Bearings: Couplings and Clutches; Gearing and Speed Reducers; and finally, Electrical Motor Selection.  ToC, section on notation, bibliographic info at end of each chapter, and index.  xii + 372pp.
