More details about this item

This is a lot of 4 vintage Napco Napcoware ceramic Catholic nun figurines with musical instruments. The figurines date to the 1960s. There are 3 nuns playing the saxophone and 1 with a bongo drum. The 3 sax-playing nuns all have different hand painted features. Each figurine is from the Napcoware 7129 line but I believe they were made in different years. The lovely nuns are robed in black habits with white head and chest pieces. They have a gold rosary at their waists and a gold cross on their chests. All are in good condition and are without chips, cracks, or repairs. Two of the saxophones have mild to moderate gold paint loss. There is trivial paint loss on the bongo drum and a few areas of light paint loss on a few of the black habits. These can be easily corrected with some craft paint. Each nun stands about 5” high and is 3” wide. Three retain their original foil labels and one has an 0.88 retail label still attached. Thank you for looking. Item location: B 20
