I love that Cheapass Games takes the time to add little things like these coins or stickers to the lineup of games. Are they needed to play? No. But they are fun!!!
The tak board is stunning and my husband loved it.
My extended family and I have gotten hooked on playing tak and was so pleasantly surprised to come across Joseph's handmade tak boards. The quality and craftsmanship are top notch and I will be buying more from Joseph.
I got this one for my sister because she loves purple. Again the craftsmanship is out of this world. I'm so glad I stumbled across wooden gifts by joseph.
I picked these up because after getting a couple of expansions for Kill Doctor Lucky, the box was so full the original pawns caused the lid to fail to close.
As I stack my games on my shelves, that was unacceptable to me.
The custom Meeple set is flat and a perfect fit, which I really appreciate.
The only downside is that the original game was designed with two characters for each color pawn, so people had a choice. The painted custom meeples are (of necessity) only painted with one of the two characters. They did try to get a good mix of characters, but only half of the total set of characters provided by the game.
Still, the box can be stored without risk of damaging the box cover, and that outweighs that issue as far as I am concerned.
Durable, not threatened by spills, rips, stains, this money will survive just about any game environment.
