I had previously ordered a sampling of four razor blade brands, hoping to find a brand that was better than the typical double edge blades found in the local drug store which were sometimes lacking in consistent quality. All four brands were better than the locally available blades, and I decided to order a quantity of the Gillette 7 o'Clock Super Stainless brand. They had given me smooth, comfortable shaves from one blade to the next.
(My beard is not especially tough or heavy and I can normally get one month's daily use from each blade. But there needs to be good quality control from the manufacturer.)
