1921 w575-1 joe judge american caramel blank back rare From 1921 thru 1922, blank back versions of the popular E121 American Caramel cards were issued with practically a similar player checklist and designated as W575. A California wholesale confectioner named Henry A. Johnson decided to purchase some uncut sheets and place their advertisement on the blank back via a plum purple ink stamp. Rarely seen, stamped W575-1’s command a significant premium considering that, Presented here is one of those extremely scarce blank back of joe judge. this is factory cut.rarely seen in the fielding position.i have had this card for 30 years if you have some additional information on this card please let me know . Joseph Ignatius Judge May 25, 1894 – March 11, 1963 was an American first baseman in Major League Baseball who played nearly his entire career for the Washington Senators. He set American League records for career games 2,056, putouts 19,021, assists 1,284, total chances 20,444, double plays 1,476 and fielding percentage .993 at first base, and led the AL in fielding average five times, then a record. He also batted over .300 nine times, and hit .385 in the 1924 World Series as the Senators won their only championship.
