The release number is 27178, the Decca Personality Series. The performer is Guy Lombardo and his Royal Canadians. Side A is "Let's Do It Again" and side B is "Nola." The Genre is Jazz, Style is Big Band. Satisfaction Guaranteed! Our Records Except for records that are still sealed, all our records are first cleaned by hand, and the 12โ€ vinyl LP albums are further cleaned with a professional cleaning machine. After cleaning, all non-sealed records are played completely through and digitized onto our computer (the .WAV files are cleaned up using software โ€“ look HERE for complete information). In our listings, we provide the standard VISUAL rating of the record, using the Goldmine rating system, but we also provide an accurate and conservative rating and description of the actual PLAY-ABILITY of the record, which will at least include whether the record plays through without skipping or repeating, and a description of the amount of background hiss, clicking noise, and louder popping noise. We may also mention other aspects of play-ability. Price is determined, at least in part, by the play-ability rating! We also provide generic replacements for any missing inner sleeves and/or album covers. This Record Listing: Visual Rating: G (Good Plus): Visually, this record is rated G (Good Plus). Side A is actually very good with only mild surface smudging and scratching, and the center label is also in good shape with mild smudging and wear, and some edge wear around the center hole. Side B has more surface smudging and scratching, and the center label has lines radiating out from the center hole. But in general, both sides have shiny tracks and both labels are clean and bright. Play-Ability Rating: G (Good Plus): Side A has fairly mild to medium background hiss and clicking. I heard a few louder pops, and some distortion (fuzziness) in spots, more so at the very end. Also, this side seems to jump into the song like a skip. I tried starting is a few times and it always did this. Play-ability for side A is VG- (Very Good Minus). Side B has no skipping or repeating, but the background hiss is medium, while clicking is more mild to medium. Louder static popping noise is a little more frequent on this side, and there are a couple places where you hear a few seconds of a rhythmic ticking noise. I heard very little distortion (fuzziness) on this side. Play-ability is G (Good). Overall play-ability for this record is G (Good Plus).
