Item description

1969 APOLLO 11 Moon Landing DISH Montclair Times, New Jersey Newspaper headlines featuring Astronaut BUZZ ALDRIN. A unique and interesting historic collectible. Astronaut Buzz Aldrin, the first man to walk on the moon was a Montclair, New Jersey native. How fitting to a Montclair Times newspaper partial front page (dated July 24, 1969) imprinted on this collectible glass dish/tray. I'm not sure if it can be called a candy dish or what, but it's unique in its own way. I've never seen another one like it and I imagine there are few left around. Measures appx. 6 3/4" x 5". Newspaper facsimile embedded in dark smoke colored glass. Excellent condition. A really nice collectible!
