Summary: This all is taken from the title page: A full account of the romantic deeds, lofty achievements and marvelous adventures of Boone, Kenton, Clarke, Logan, Harrold, The Wetzel Brothers, The Bradys, Poe, and thirty other celebrated frontiersmen and Indian fighters: Crockett, Houston, Kit Carson, Buffalo Bill, Wild Bill, and all the famous plainsmen; Graham, Sutter, Marshall Fremont, Kearney, and other historic names of the Pacific Coast. With picturesque sketches of border life, past and present; backwoods camp-meetings, schools and Sunday schools; Heroic Fortitude and noble deeds of the Pioneer Wives and Mothers. Flatboating; the Overland Route and Its Horros; the Gold Fever and Filibustering Expeditions; Vigilance Committees; Lafitte, Walker, Brigham Young, Etc.; Eccentricities and Self-Sacrificing Labors of Cartwright, Axley and other Celebrated Pioneer Preachers, and describing Life and adventure on the Plains and in the Mining Camps of To-Day, Including hunting, trapping, freighting, ranching, herding, post-trading, Indian Agencies, Scouts, Guides and Desperadoes; Immense fortunes of Western Millionaires, How Made; etc., etc. Condition: Hardcover, covers are worn, scuffed and some soiling, corners are bumped and bared, spine seam is chipped and torn at top and bottom plus cloth is tore at seams and there is some fading; front cover lining papers are tore at seam and threads exposed so cover is lose but still attached; inside lining paper is missing; name on front inside fly; text is cracked at the seam in several places so little lose but still intact; text has some soiled specks and some age discoloring; a worn copy but a good readable copy with some nice illustrations; overall good. Shipping Handling/Payment: Media mail with dc and insurance, 7.25, USA (not negotiable). If insurance is not included in s h charges, it is extra and recommended as Seller is not responsible for uninsured items. F.O.B. Miller, SD.
