The flowers are 1.3 cm in diameter and do not open completely. They are green and white with green tops of the outer whorls petals, the lip and the cover of the anther chamber. The flowers can be smooth or covered with hairs and uneven. They have an oval ridge petal and smaller lateral outer petals. Longitudinal-lanceolate petals of the inner whorl have sharp tips. Mentum has the same length as the free parts of the side outer petals. All parts are white to cream with a green shade. The greenish lip is ovoid-lanceolate, sharp-tipped and concave. The anther chamber is also greenish. DENDROBIUM CAPITULIFLORUM CARE AND CULTURE Cultural information should only be used as a guide, and should be to be adapted to suit you. Your physical location; where you grow your plants, how much time you have to devote to their care, and many other factors, will need to be taken into account. When growing in pots, shallow containers are recommended filled with any loose, quickly drying ground. Repotting is best done when new roots grow. Watering: Water is moderate for most of the year, but in the period of 4-5 months in summer and early autumn is more wet. During this period, Dendrobium capituliflorum should be thoroughly irrigated, after which they should be allowed to lightly dry. In autumn, the amount of water should be Fertilizer: It is recommended to feed the plant weekly or every 2 week 1/4-1/2 dose of fertilizer for orchids. Balanced fertilizer should be used for a round year. Rest period: The given cultivation temperatures should be maintained throughout the year. In winter, Dendrobium capituliflorum should dry a little longer between watering, but they can not stay dry for too long. Fertilization should be reduced until spring, when watering increases.
