Contains the Hemingway article, "The Cardinal Picks a Winner" (Hanneman #C 293). This is the first and only appearance of this article. Numerous full page pictures of Spanish Civil War images, including other topics highlighted by Ken (anti-nazi, anti-fascist, etc). Magazine in good condition with flaws noted: A faint crease across the front center length of the cover, which shows up as a white line on the front color cover; bottom and top corners have faint creases; small white thumb creases dot the cover. Else, spine staples tight and magazine is clean with no interior writing. Pages 53 - 56 (one fold) detached from staple bindings - (the center of magazine), and laid in. Full-page picture pages 51-57 have up to a 1/2" tear on the outer center edge, extending inward.
