Antique English Hollinshead Kiekham Brown Transfer Printed Calico Pompadore Pattern Child's Tea Set Comprising a tea pot with lid, creamer, three cups, two saucers and one plate. Each covered with a brown transfer of a calico fabric print of flowers with flower and moss designs. One saucer marked in transfer POMPADORE / H K Condition: The tea pot with glaze wear to the handle, a shrinkage firing crack to knop on lid in the making, glaze wear and small chip to rim of spout. Creamer with minor glaze wear at spout and rim. One cup with small chip at rim and one with minor staining and crazing. One saucer broken and restuck and now with a large chip to underside of the rim. Plate with chip to rim on upper edge, minor soiling and crazing to rim and small stain to underside. All with the usual and expected potting, glazing and firing flaws as made. Tea pot measures 3 3/4" high, cup measures 2" high, plate measures 4 1/2" diameter, saucer measures 4 1/4" diameter approx.
