More about this item

Hull Magnolia Vase, probably from the 1940s. Measures 6.25” tall, and 5.5” at its widest point. Base is 3” in diameter. Colors are very soft yellows, pinks, and greens. Beautiful magnolia flowers on each side. A little wear on the bottom probably from sitting on hard surfaces. No chips, cracks or repairs. I believe it had been used as a vase as there are some dirt/dust type stains in the bottom of the vase. It’s stamped Hull, U.S.A. on the bottom and has what I believe is the pattern number and looks like “12- 6 ”. This is a very pretty vase and will look lovely in your home. Hull Pottery began in 1905 as the A.E. Hull Pottery Company of China Street, Crooksville, Ohio. It was the late 1930s and into the 1940s, when Hull began vases in the various flower shapes and the soft colors and gentle detailing we recognize as Hull. The company continued with various items well into the 1970s. According to Wikipedia, in March 1986 Hull ceased operations and closed the plant.
