If you are looking for unused, mint condition items, these will not be for you. If you love Kentucky history, you will probably like this collection. I will describe each below. Postcards 1. Log Cabin in Hardin County, Kentucky, Birth Place of Abraham Lincoln – Glossy Post Card. Postmarked Louisville, August 19, 1913. Send to Cincinnati, Ohio. Published by Bagby-Howe Drug Co. Louisville, KY. 1 cent green stamp on back. Small tear on left side. Roughness on corners. 2. Starks Building – Louisville, Ky – Glossy Post Card, Postmarked Louisville, August 14, 1913 sent to Cincinnati, Ohio. Published by Bagby-Howe Drug Co. Louisville, KY. Has green 1 cent stamp. Watermark stain on upper right corner. Slight wear on top left corner and bottom left corner. 3. The Cabbage Patch, showing Home of Mrs. Wiggs, Louisville, KY – Glossy Post Card, Postmarked Louisville and Mailed June 16th 1914 and sent to Cincinnati, Ohio. Published by Bagby-Howe Drug Co. Has green 1 cent stamp. Stain on right end of fence on front. Wear on corners. 4. Kentucky’s New State Capital – Glossy Post Card. Stains on front. Postmarked Louisville September 16, 1914. Sent to Cincinnati Ohio. Published by Fred A. Mason, Jeffersonville, Indiana. Has 1 cent green stamp of back. 5. Cumberland Falls, Kentucky – 1B-H991 – Linen Style Postcard – Not dated, by Curteich-Chicago "C.T. Art-Colortone” Post Card. – Stain bottom edge middle on front. 6. Du Pont Lodge, Cumberland Falls State Park, Kentucky. Photo by H.A. Browning. Line Style Post Card. Nice shape, small brown mark lower left bottom. Not dated. Genuine Curteich-Chicago "C.T.-Art Colortone” Post Card. 7. Kiwanis Bridge, Cumberland Falls State Park, Kentucky. Photo by Mrs. June W. Taylor. Also by Curteich-Chicago. 5B-H25. Not dated. Linen Style Post Card. Nice shape. 8. "Old Man of the Falls”, Cumberland Falls State Park, Kentucky, Photo by H.H. Catching. 5B-H26. The word TOP is written on left margin. Also by Curteich. Not dated. Slight bend left bottom corner. 9. Cumberland Falls State Park, Kentucky 7A-H3275 and KE-13. Dog-eared upper left corner. By C.T. General Kentucky Scenes – 20 subjects. By Curteich-Chicago. Not dated. Maps 1. 1959 Map - Kentucky The Blue Grass State. Has horses on one side, Kentucky Official Highway Map on the other side. Published by Department of Public Relations Frankfort, Kentucky. Lots of pictures inside. Map is in nice condition, no tears. 2. 1973-74 American Oil Company Kentucky Tennessee Road Map. Has wear along top of map fold and some stains with a small hole. Rest of map is okay. Back has ad for Amoco Oil Company Credit Card, American Torch Club and The Help Club. Brochures 1. Kentucky State Parks – You’ll Have Fun Wherever You Go in Kentucky. Sailboats on front cover. Address spot for mailing on back cover. Nice shape but does have some wear on center fold. Not dated but there is a picture of Governor Albert Chandler inside, which dates it around 1955. 2. Kentucky Wondering Woods Brochure – A Panorama of Yesteryear in a Turn of the Century Village, Cave City/Park City, KY. Nice condition. Back has other attractions listed such as Harmony Tower, Mammoth Cave Wax Museum, Huckleberry Hill and more. Wondering Woods was a tourist attraction featuring a typical rural village, circa early 1900’s. It closed over 20 years ago. Probably from the 1960’s. 3. 1967 Lincoln Heritage Trail Brochure – Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky. Has small stain that shows on two sides of one section.
