Item description

ADMATTER IS PROUD TO OFFER FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION TODAY THIS AWESOME 8 X 10 PHOTO THAT HAS BEEN HAND-SIGNED BY MELANIE GRIFFITH! Melanie Griffith (born August 9, 1957) is an American actress. After many years in the business, in 1984 Griffith was cast in her first major role as a porn actress in the Brian De Palma thriller Body Double. The film, although a commercial failure, earned her the National Society of Film Critics Award for Best Supporting Actress, and led to her first leading role in Jonathan Demme's Something Wild (1986), which became a cult favorite.[5] Griffith also starred in the cult science fiction film Cherry 2000, which went straight to video in 1988. She achieved mainstream success when Mike Nichols cast her as spunky secretary Tess McGill in the hit 1988 film Working Girl. Griffith's performance earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress and won her the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy. She is the daughter of actress Tippi Hedren, and the ex-wife of actor Antonio Banderas Griffith's next starring role was in the urban thriller Pacific Heights (1990) with Matthew Modine. She worked continuously in mainstream films throughout the 1990s, starring in features such as The Bonfire of the Vanities (1990), A Stranger Among Us and Shining Through (1992), Born Yesterday (1993), Milk Money (1994), Nobody's Fool (1994), Now and Then (1995), and Two Much (1996), where she co-starred with future husband Antonio Banderas. Griffith received a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in the successful TV movie Buffalo Girls (1995), alongside Anjelica Huston. In 1998 she appeared in Woody Allen's Celebrity with Kenneth Branagh and Leonardo DiCaprio. Later that year, she starred as a free-spirited heroin user in Another Day in Paradise (1998), a performance that some critics wrote was the best of her career. n 2003, Griffith made her Broadway debut playing Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago. Untrained in song and dance, she still impressed New York Times theatre critic Ben Brantley, who wrote: "Ms. Griffith is a sensational Roxie, possibly the most convincing I have seen" and "[the] vultures who were expecting to see Ms. Griffith stumble...will have to look elsewhere". Griffith's celebratory reviews made it a box office success. She returned to the stage in 2012 in a play that Scott Caan wrote titled "No Way Around but Through," where she played his mother[13] She would play Caan's mother again in a recurring role on his television show Hawaii Five-0 in 2014. Hey there fellow collectors! If you're worried about forged autographs, that's great, because you ought to be! I have over 40 years experience collecting, and I'm still worried! With all of the legitimate possibilities available for dealers, I find it disgusting that sooooo many sellers are knowingly ripping off the public by selling blatant forgeries and fraudulent memorabilia for the sake of a couple of bucks. Much of this junk is not even a reasonable facsimile of the real thing! People... please do your homework! Here a few basic guidelines that may be helpful in sorting through all the manure! One telltale sign are sellers on FeeBay utilizing the "Private Feedback" option. This is a tactic that some people are using to pawn off their fakes and try and make you believe that they are only doing so to help protect the your FeeBay ID and identity. The true reason that they use the "Private Feedback" is to hide. Gee... let's think about that....hmmmm... why are they hiding??? Then there are the sellers that keep selling the same picture or autograph over and over and over. Read through their feed back ....check their past sales! Most celebrities make it a habit to sign only one autograph per person. For a celebrity to sign two or three items at a time is an amazing accomplishment and a rare privilege. So in MOST cases, to see a dealer selling the same item week after week after week, ought to raise an eyebrow or two don't ya think? I know....I know... they buy autographs in mass quantities and are able to offer them to you at bargain basement prices! Gee a Jennifer Garner autograph for 5 bucks what a deal!! They have got to be kidding!!! THINK ABOUT IT! IF YOU HAD THE GOOD FORTUNE OF MEETING ONE OF THESE CELEBRITIES AND WERE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO GET THEIR AUTOGRAPH WOULD YOU SELL IT ON FeeBay FOR FIVE BUCKS???? But they are giving me a certificate of Authenticity! Gee....It must be real then!! Well.. here is my cut at COA's. MOST are absolutely meaningless! The UACC (United Autograph Collectors Club) does not issue certificates of Authenticity nor do they endorse the use of these certificates. They are the true meaning of the phrase "They aren't worth the paper they're printed on!" Anyone with a printer can whip you up certificate... and if they're going to forge an autograph, do you think they would hesitate to make a COA? If you are looking for a fancy dancy....multicolored... 3-dimensional... polka dotted COA and a forged autograph, we suggest you go elsewhere! I'm sure you can get one for 2.99! Heck they might even throw in free shipping! Please educate yourself and rely on your trained eye. I learned to authenticate from studying signed checks. I found this method to be the most reliable source for comparison. I obtain my Autographs in person, as well as purchase collections and items I feel confident are authentic. ***This is NOT a Pre-Print!!!.....This is NOT a COPY!!!.....This is NOT Part of the photo!!!... This is NOT a laser print!!!....This is NOT a facsimile!!!.....This is NOT a 1st generation print....or any other new fangled term FeeBay sellers have cleverly came up with.... that really means YOU HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF!!!*** ***EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS ITEM IS AS ADVERTISED OR WE WILL GIVE YOUR MONEY BACK!! 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEED!!***
