Night Sun and The Seven Directions by Spencer G. Lone Tree  This 374 signed by author soft cover book is in Very Good condition. Other then Best Wishes and authors signiture there is no writing, torn, or folded pages. No spine or cover creases, minor bumps to corners. Night Sun and the Seven Directions: Night Sun, a twelve-year old Winnebago Indian boy, is a reincarnated warrior, destined to become a powerful medicine man of the tribe. His legend begins immediately at birth, as the Thunderbird Spirits and his spiritual guide accompany him and herald his arrival in spectacular fashion. Night Sun combines the ingredients of mysticism and action-packed adventure featuring the enigmatic Eagle Chief, a spirit visible only to Night Sun, Mah Kani-ga, the sage old shaman who mentors the you boy, Chief Fire Cloud, the grandfather who teaches him the Winnebago culture and traditions, and Hawkeye, the young friend who shares many adventures in the âœNeutral Zoneâ in Northeast Iowa in the late 1840âs. The way of life of the 19th century Winnebago was being abolished through the white mane school. Harsh and brutal treatment at the school prompts Night Sun and three friends to stage a daring escape in the middle of winter. No one had ever successfully escaped and those who tried were severely punished. Night Sun would call unpon his supernatural powers to intercede in the quest for freedom.  Â
