More about this item

Cookin Ware Health Economy Cook Rite Very vintage and extremely rare earthenware crock dutch oven and pie pan. Made between the mid 1930s to mid 1940s. Two pieces. Brown glaze on the entire interior and the exterior rim. The unglazed exterior body has a relief pattern fruit or floral design image which was patented in 1934. The bottom of each piece is imprinted with the product name and patent number. The upper lip of both pieces measure 10 inches diameter. The bottom crock measures 4 inches height. The top piece measures 1-3/4 inches deep. The overall condition of this item, considering its age and extreme use environment -- is really pretty good. The bottom piece has a small chip on the interior lip. The lid has several cracks, probably stress, part of which has been obviously repaired, but still very useable. MAW-267/ INV-290/ LOC-75
