Item description

Falling Upward Ray Bradbury 1988 play booklet. 56 pages. About fine condition in stapled stiff wrappers. 7-1/4" x 5". The copyright date inside this play booklet is 1988. This book is inscribed and dated to John Anthony Miller of Phantom Bookshop: 'For John Miller! Mad Irish Love! Ray Bradbury 5/04/02' and this is a rather uncommon Bradbury piece of ephemera to find signed. The play is a famous comedic play and was Ray Bradbury's favourite play taking place in an Irish pub in Ireland. He ran several separate productions of this play while he lived in Los Angeles, CA. Ray Bradbury did many signings at Phantom Bookshop in downtown Ventura, CA and this was one of two of his favourite places to sign books to massive crowds. This play booklet is from my personal collection and is not common signed, and I personally presented this book to him for the inscription and signature and date. I knew this great author for 28 years. Add a map to your own listings. FREE Trial!
