This ship model is micro sanded and varnished with a high gloss The masts, the smoke stack and the lower portion of the hull are painted in the original colors. It was named after Seguin Island at the mouth of the Kennebec River. At one time she was the nations oldest operating steam powered tugboat. Her eighty five year carrier consisted of towing sailing vessels and barges laden with coal, lumber and ice along the Atlantic coast from Maine to Virginia.
