Item description

Victorian Silver Overlay Stemmed Cordial Liqueur Glasses England Four. Beautiful set of four vintage silver overlay Victorian cordial glasses with stems. The glasses are banded with sterling silver overlay at the top and bottom and have etched silver overlay patterns on all sides of the glasses. Each has the same patterns, which include a woman in a Victorian ball gown holding a flower or scepter and is inset in a picture frame type silver pattern. The sides of the glasses have silver flowers, and the back is an oriental pagoda like pattern. The glasses have a bubbled stem and measure 4 3/4 inches tall. They are in excellent condition with beautiful colors, blue, red, amber, and silver gray. They are from England and date to the early 1900's. This rare and beautiful set would make a stunning statement in any dining room or bar.
