The motto of the 110 is actually one of the regiment O'Gilvy. The latter is the qu'adoptaient in 1477 the Dukes of Lorraine to mark their claim to uphold the independence of their stronghold. Thus, the cities of Nancy and Bitche still bear the motto. REVERSE: Marked: Arthus - Bertrand pour Editions Atlas. Measurement: Approx. 1 5/8” high X 1 1/4” wide.
