More about this item

This is a cute pair of vintage Lefton ceramic lad and lass playing those traditional Scottish musical instruments. Please note that the red box in the photos is not included in purchase. The girl figurine is 6.25” high and 2.75” wide at her base. She is stamped with the number 3930 and there is a partial red label dating her manufacture to sometime between 1953 and 1971. She is in very good condition and has no chips, cracks, or age-related crazing. There is a tiny spot of paint loss on her beret. The shelf sitter boy figurine is 5.25” high by 3” wide. He is stamped with the number 3931 and has a partial red label dating him to 1953-1971. This figurine has a few condition issues. There is a ” long area where some ceramic material has sheared off. Someone has painted over this area. Please see the photos above. The figurine still displays very well. The lad has trivial paint loss on his jacket and on his kilt. Otherwise, the figurine has no cracks or age-related crazing. Thank you for looking. Item location: B 8
