More about this item

This is a lovely vintage Wade Irish porcelain Donegal tea cup and saucer set. The set features the wonderful Wade blended green and blue glaze with hints of tan. This set is slightly different in coloration from the other set I have listed. This one features more of the tan color, especially on the saucer. The cup is model M 336 and has an embossed type 40 mark dating it to late 1970s. The cup is 2.75” high and 3.25” wide. It is in excellent used condition and has no chips or cracks. The glaze remains clear and glossy. The saucer is model M 337 and is 5.5” in diameter. It is in excellent condition and is free of chips or cracks. The saucer has an impressed type 40 mark dating it to late 1970s. The tea cup and saucer set can be seen on page 103 of the Ian Warner and Mike Posgay book called The Wonderful World of Wade Ireland. Thank you for looking. Item location: B 10
