Simple Item Variations Now Live
Happy to announce that one of most requested improvements is now live on Bonanza. Earlier this month we (as in Jordan), launched a new version of item variations, and yeah, they are awesome!
In a nutshell, sellers can now add custom variations to their items, directly via the new/edit item form. Once you select a category, you will see normal trait options.
Type in your variation. If it already exists it will show. If not, click "Enter," and the variation will be added to this single item.
If you have multiple colors/multiple sizes, you can just type in "Many Colors" or "Many Sizes" into the field and click enter, and a new option will show so you can add multiple colors and sizes
Now these will show as options for your buyers
You are also able to create trait profiles to use on other listings. Our importers should recognize incoming variations and quantities. Our importers will also recognize various price points on the multiple variations per item. If you find that to not be the case, please contact our world famous Bonanza Support Team so we can assist.

This will be so great for apparel sellers like me where I sell multiple sizes of the same item…thanks so much!
It works for two colors with separate quantities.
I then added the second UPC code within my description.
Buyers love to see choice dropdowns, these will encourage multiple sales. Good work!
Hi variations is not working for me check this listing out I would like to set up variations considering these chairs are the same but are being offered in different colors.

I am not understanding how this works. I cannot get any options to come up like what you show above. I can use this feature a lot if I can figure out how it works. LOL HELP PLEASE ! Does this only work in certain categories? Maybe that is my problem. Hoping someone can clear this up for me. Thx much !
It should work in all categories where these variations are relevant (I think it may even be all categories but will need to check with Jordan). If you continue to have trouble, please sent the specific item link to support along with the variations you are trying to add and we will give it a go.
I was just about to ask if anyone else is having issues. Does this only work on new listings?
It doesn’t look like anything under the Pet Supplies category has the variation options. The phrase “Many Colors”, for example, is there but nothing happens when you choose it. Would be really great if this feature worked… I even tried creating a New Listing, same result. ??
From what I understand, the option to create multiple traits will exist for relevant categories. So if your category had sizes and colors, etc before, then you should be able to expand those variations. If that is not the case then please send us the information to [email protected] so we can assist.
Same as comments above for jewelry. Here’s another twist. I import thousands of items from Amazon that have variations on Amazon. Will the variations import? I can’t imagine doing this by hand.
The variations should import provided that category supports that variation (i.e. you import an Amazon item to Bonanza that has at least one size variation in the trait. Bonanza should import all the sizes along with the price variations for each size). If this is not the case please send the info to [email protected] so we can assist.
