More details about this item

Black Tepary beans are very tolerant of drought and heat and are grown throughout the arid Southwest. However, they did very well on the farm in our exceptionally wet 2015 season, so I believe they are highly adaptable. This variety is grown as a dry bean for its nutty flavor and tender texture. Plant a couple of rows of these, and in 60 days you will be ready to make some of the best black beans burritos ever. The pods can be either red or green, but I'll send seed that sets mostly red pods. A packet contains about 50 seeds.
