Does anyone might know the name for this pattern?

Hello.

I came across a few pretty champagne glasses. One is pink and one is green. So far I’ve got the pink one up [URL removed]
https://www.bonanza.com/listings/Vintage-Pink-Swirled-Wine-Champagne-Saucer-Bowl-Glass-Victorian-White-Lace/[phone number removed]
I do not know the exact name of the pattern. I wish I had it because I’m sure someone is more than likely in search of this piece.

If you do not know the name of the pattern, can you give me a resource to check?

Thanks,

Sharon

Not sure of the pattern, however, why only 2 photos? You get 15 photos. Why not add a few more…bottom, close up of rim, etc.

Try the website replacements.com. They have hundreds of patterns, etc. If you can’t find it there you will never find it! lol

You can also send pics to Replacements, if you can’t find it on their site.

We sure live and learn, don’t we ??

EmpressDepot says: April 12, 2018

Bookbin, I just got done submitting the pics and description to Replacements. I’ll post back here when I find something out…just in case any of you happen to look back at the thread.

Your glass question fascinated me and I have looked all over for the answer. I am starting to think it is a custom etched bride/groom toasting champagne glass.

EmpressDepot says: April 14, 2018

If anything, you gave me another keyword to use, abigdogmom. Thanks for that :)

EmpressDepot says: April 14, 2018

And thanks for looking. Whenever people post asking about a pattern/era I, too, cannot help but to do a search.

June is right around the corner, so the wedding keywords will be a good thing :)

Just an observation about Replacements Ltd, and even the manufacturer’s own sites. I have several pieces of Minton china, dated back to the 1800’s, They are clearly marked with pattern name, date, etc. I know the provenance, because they had been in my husband’s family for several of generations. Hi Sharon,
Suggestion for you. A couple of years back I joined a site on the internet, Collectorsweekly. The site offers a wealth of information. You may join as a member for free, post pictures of your items with a caption and wait for a member to answer your questions. You will be amazed what others know out in the collectors community. You can not ask what the item is worth or what you can list your item for. The site is mainly to gather information on your collectibles. I am a member and have listed several of my items and received excellent responses from collectors.
I have not used the site in about a year, but from time to time I reach out and find what I am looking for at www.collectorsweekly.com.

Hope this information is helpful to you as well as others here at the “B”.

Best of luck. When you find out the pattern, etc., I hope you will come back and share with us your wealth of information.

Take care,

Rita

Thank you, Rita. I will be joining this site.

EmpressDepot says: April 14, 2018

Okay. I joined. I cannot tell where to post my question, do you know? I like how they have a link where we can request an appraisal for $17…not a bad deal if a higher priced item. I wonder in the appraisal if they identify who made the item?…just curious to know for the future.

MomentsInThyme says: April 15, 2018

Yes it’s easy. After you sign in go to the top of the page and click on “Show & Tell” and you will see the next blank spot (Add Your Item Here) that is where you will your item with a description. By the way friend me at Vintage1961 and I will friend you back.

EmpressDepot says: April 15, 2018

TY. I got the pics up on the site. This is a really good site, very informative and a positive atmosphere with the people. I think it is weird how a Google search never brought that site into their search but really glad that I know about it now.

EmpressDepot says: April 15, 2018

Is vintage1961 your user ID on collector’s weekly? I tried putting it into their search box but nothing came up. I am EmpressDepot on there. Let me know how to find you or you find me lol.

Hi Sharon, Yes my user ID. Happy you like the site. I stumbled across the site two years ago & enjoy reading the history of the different items. Professional site with serious collectors. I’m involved with taxes. I will contact you Tuesday evening through email. Best of luck! Rita

I emailed into Replacements.com and received a response.

They do not know the name of the pattern, so all I can do is try and use direct keywords and hope a person looking for this wine glass will find it.

Price wise, it is hard to know what to price it at. Some rare wine glasses really go for good money.

My next best bet will be going to my local antique shop and see if she knows. Fingers crossed.

Thanks,

Sharon
