a. a bunch of listings
b. signed up for Platinum member
c. Opted for the 13% advertising fee

That being said I wanted to test this baby out with ( a give away)a pair of brand new Leather Docker Boat shoes for $5 and free shipping with a 30 day money back guarantee.

Its been on for about 3 days with no sale and only 11 views.

Another seller (gearseller2) brought up a good point. You should consider listing different sizes of the same shoe model as variations in ONE listing. When buyers check out, they can then choose their size.

I may be kind of stupid, but I checked the listing, and do not know if they are men’s or women’s shoes!

You are competing with many other drop-sellers on Bonanza. For example, I searched for several of your shoes and came across a lot of Bonanza sellers selling those same shoes. Here’s one, for [URL removed]

Unfortunately, your price on that shoe is about $20 to $50 higher than what other Bonanza sellers have priced it at. The Bonanza advertising you pay for submits your items to Google Shopping, but you will be competing with those other sellers (Bonanza, eBay, etc.), since many Bonanza shoppers end up here through Google Shopping search results.

Also, the same search on Google Shopping produced more search results that had even lower prices. The competition seems fierce for your products.

Thank you for your input.

TomWayne1- are the duplicate listings still a problem here? He has a separate listing for each individual size. I was told that would be considered a duplicate listing (a long time back) and not allowed. I don’t know how the new product listing form works for shoes but thought worth a mention.

@gearseller2… you have a good point. While each listing has a slightly different description (and won’t be counted “officially” as a duplicate listing, it would make the seller’s booth look better if VARIATIONS were used.

@gearseller2, @tomwayne1, as a buyer, I prefer to purchase from a ‘single’ listing without variations, so His method/option suits me better. But for sure it depends on each buyer preferences. BTW, there are marketplace, where separate listings for each color, size, etc. are preferable and…

… and this site is doing quite well in Google rank, Google Shopping.

Great comments by other members! I prefer to shop using variations. Don’t have time to scroll through numerous “duplicate” listings trying to find what is available.

I agree with tomwayne1, fierce competition in drop-shipping. I’d do a search for my products, if I was a drop-shipper, and price midway of the prices.

“I prefer to shop using variations.” Yes, I understand, as I said it’s a matter of each buyer’s preferences. “Don’t have time to scroll…” – I don’t scroll, I write in a search box item’s name, brand, color and size and usually it comes on the top places in the results. E.g. >
