How long after the sale can a buyer leave or change feedback?

Can they change or decide to leave some 6 months later or a year later? Any time limit?

It’s my understanding that they have 90 days to leave f/b if they choose. It cannot be edited.

Really not sure..however, there is a setting in your Account Settings under Notifications that [URL removed]

Send an email reminding a buyer to leave feedback about me (sent a month after transaction closes)

Which means that it can be as long as 30 days..By the way I do NOT have this option checked…most of my experience is that people don’t like the reminder emails especially 30 days later….And feedback cannot be changed.

Truthfully, I don’t think (at least in the 5 years I’ve been here the subject has ever come up..

Most if they are regular here, they will leave feedback as soon as item arrives, bonz buyers (those who choose not to register) rarely come back and leave feed back.

Thanks for the information about the reminder for feedback. I did not want that checked either.

From what I have heard from sellers on various sites, asking for Feedback is opening a can of worms. Sometimes a buyer is not totally happy – maybe with the item itself, the length of time it took to arrive, the cost of shipping, the color, etc, and is actually doing you a favor by not leaving unfavorable feedback. Best let it be, in my opinion.

In three years, out of 229 sales, I have gotten 19 feedbacks. It doesn’t bother me at all.

This makes me feel a little better, we have sold 2 items, and no one on bonanza has left us feed back.

As CindyBear says, please do not check the box to send a feedback reminder. I accidently had mine checked and I hold it responsible for the one negative I have. This is based on the fact that the FB was left just over 30 days after the transaction and the comments left with the FB just don’t make any sense. As soon as I realized this buyer must have been annoyed by the reminder, I found it and unchecked the box. FB really isn’t that important. You know you’ll always get the negatives if/when they’re warranted but if someone is pleased, they’re pleased. Comment not necessary. This is why I like the fact that number of transactions is also shown. I believe I have 3 items sold for every one FB and some of my FB is for purchases so in my case, about 25% of my buyers have left FB.
