Is 'import items from inventory file' normally this slow?

I haven’t used bonanza for a long time and just trying to get started again, but I’m not getting on at all well with the upload.

My .csv file was uploaded literally hours ago, but seems to be going nowhere fast.

> 0 items out of a total of 15,683 items items have been processed.

…has been showing for about two hours now. “Remove all previously imported items from booth that aren’t in the inventory file” is selected, but my old items are all still visible. I’ve emailed support but not heard back yet.

Any ideas please? Even though I have a large inventory I’m used to my uploads on other sites taking far less time than this. If there are errors they usually fail quite quickly and I would get some sort of error message, but I have refreshed the upload page about 20 times now and it doesn’t seem to be doing a thing. Thanks in advance.

Category id, title, id, shipping_price, worldwide_shipping_price, description, price

I’ll try to edit this post again once it completes, with an estimate of the upload time. This upload was timetabled to take 15 minutes work and has now run into two days.

Also I’m still not getting notifications for new answers in this thread.

[URL removed] finally finished upload at 21:40 GMT. For some reason, nothing has categories, so still no items visible in my booth as yet.

This is an official Bonanza response.

Thanks for reaching out @Double_Happiness and sorry to hear about the trouble with your CSV import. The import process can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours to complete, depending on the number of imports in the queue and how many items are being copied over. We do not recommend canceling and restarting the import, as this will put you at the back of the queue and may cause additional delays.

Hope that information helps. Please let us know at our support department if we can be of further assistance.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Please be advised I didn’t get a notification even though ‘Notify me via email when new answers posted’ was selected and email setting is correct. I have deleted all old inventory and tried a corrected upload. So far I have waited ~2 hours and 0 items processed.

Files I uploaded last night are still showing 0 processed. Made a sale on an out of stock item because my quantities are not getting updated. What is going on?!

Any updates? I saw my old pending update finally finished, but my new upload is still sitting at 0 again. Can’t operate my business like this without being able to update quantity or price. Very frustrating.

My upload has been in processing mode for 5 hours already with no items processed today. It makes no sense.

I think something out of the ordinary is going on today. Bonanza has recently been much improved in speed, but today nothing is happening. I made a sale on something that was out of stock, but I could not update my inventory with my upload file. It’s just been sitting at 0 complete all day long. Bonanza has always been notoriously slow with file uploads and major improvements need to be made here.
