My item for sale does not have upc

What can I do if my item for sale does not have a upc and is not allowed in the google feed? I have new items without upc and I have vintage items without upc.

You may be able to look up the product’s UPC code at one of these databases that I found in a Google [URL removed]

For items (especially vintage and hand-made) that don’t have a UPC code, it is not necessary to include one. Many sellers simply enter “Does not apply” into the UPC field. However, you should always try to incluse as many product identifiers as possible (e.g., model, brand, etc.) to help buyers find your items.

If you have good descriptions and titles, the UPC-less items can still show up near the top in Google organic search results.

Like tomwayne1 said, do your best to fill in what you can, put in “do not apply” for UPC and then don’t worry about google. They’re the most evil entity on the internet these days and no matter how many hoops they set up for you to jump through, they’re never going to help the little guy or gal. Never. They’re just a source of massive stress and anxiety.

One thing I’d like to know is how to get rid of the notification that I have one item “disapproved” by google. It’s a hand made item that I’m not paying to buy a UPC for just because google wants one. I’m not looking for their approval, don’t care if I have it or not and really don’t appreciate seeing that every day. The other notification I can “X-out”, but that stinking google one just sits there poking me every day. Arg!
