My items have continuously sold on ebay but have not sold here since near the beginning of my booth last fall

I opened a booth last fall and immediately sold several items to a variety of people. Then suddenly nothing. There have been no sales since November. I have been selling steadily on ebay and have gotten views here, but no sales.I am starting to really wonder if something is wrong with my booth. It is possible to purchase items here?
I have been selling lots of Barbie sweaters, doll slippers, hankies, doilies and a variety of other items on ebay – just nothing here. HELP!!

This is an official Bonanza response.

Hi @Susansweaters_Sewing,

One of the most common questions on Bonanza is how to increase sales. It is difficult to form one response that will work for everyone, as each seller’s situation and business is different. Just checking a couple of your items, I see you have them listed higher here on bonanza than you do ebay. For [URL removed] A knit doll dress, the same one you have on ebay is $1.50 & $1 shipping….Here on bonanza you have it for $3 free shipping…So it is .50 higher on bonanza, so why would someone buy it from bonanza if they can get it for .50 less on ebay? If i list the same items on ebay, i always list them for just a bit less on bonanza so the buyer, if they do want to comparison shop, will see its less on bonanza, and will purchase here.

I am not doing well here neither Susansweaters. I sell on other venues and do well selling the same kind of items. Also have the 19% advertising level that has done nothing for me.

I don’t really agree with Misskeech though, I don’t think 50 cents is a deal breaker at such a low price point for your items, it should not be an issue.

I do believe the site does not function well though and have found many glitches in it. I am betting that is what the problem is.

Starlet, that was one example, & not saying its a deal breaker. However, buyers generally comparison shop to save money, not spend more. even .50 can add up to some, especially when buying more than 1. I have seen other sellers here do this same thing with items that cost much more

On Bonanza several months, put on items that should sell. Not one sell, but $25 a month charges. I come on and asks me to do more and more things, now it is a slide show. I’m not interested in spending more time for nothing. Clear Images and Jewels
I’m also not going to give items away then use my $ to mail items. Free Shipping is not free for the seller, unless you are in a country where the US tax payers pay for it.

What? Lol. I am not sure what country you are in, but here in the USA, taxpayers do not pay for a sellers shipping cost, the seller does. I almost always have free shipping, i work my shipping into the cost. And i make decent sales.

hmmm thanks for the input

Actually, Miss Keech, if you go to eBay, and find any item being sold in china, you will notice free shipping on many of their light weight items, via Epacket. It is the USPS who make it possible for them to get such discounted prices on international shipping. Check it out on google.
