I’m full of questions today! USPS first class weight now tops out at 16 oz. right? It’s only an option at 13 oz. in the shipping calculator. Am I wrong about this?

Yes, looks like it may take some time for selling sites to get caught up. I even went to paypal to try to ship something, and it’s still set at 13 oz there also, so i wrote them a message, will let you know what they say if i get a reply back from them

Unless it just changed recently, First Class tops out at 13oz. Anything over that goes to Priority, or one of the other options.

When I have an item 16oz or less, I put in flat rate for that particular weight. Not sure about International because I don’t ship outside the US. Might be different for those circumstances.

It looks like First Class weight has changed, per this Story. But maybe one of the Bonanza mavens will come along and offer official insight.

I asked the clerk at my local post office and she said first class mail is now up to 16 oz. The change went into effect on January 17 or 18 and hopefully will soon be updated on shipping calculators. I have noticed that doing one package at a time will give you the correct rate on some sites versus doing a bunch at one time.
