What's wrong with this listing ... a $5.00 item .. 1,152 views

Good morning everyone.

I have this listing that has been viewed 1,157 times. It’s a PlayStation 3 disc only. I have never had an item viewed this many times without a sale

I have sold many “disc” only for higher price, but this one has got me stumped. I know it’s a $5 item, and I could/should remove it, but it’s now the principle LOL

I have been selling online since 1998 and I can tell you that I have had items I thought for sure were winners and they failed and vice versa. I mostly deal in Comic Books, action figures, Die-cast but have dabbled in other things along the way including Video Games and as mentioned above most customers prefer the item to basically be in brand new condition for a used price. There will always be those items that just won’t sell. I myself keep listings up for one year, if no sale I take it down and either use it as a freebie, or if it just seems irrelevant any longer I donate it. I also do not only sell in one shop, gotta keep many avenues open. Good luck!

I’m going to guess right away that the cover is missing and the code that is need to play the game is usually posted on the cover so that would make the game useless. Most people want games to be in the original boxes and all paperwork that comes with it as well. I now I have a box full of PC games all in the original sales boxes with all booklets and all pieces that came with them and i couldn’t even sell 90 games for $90 with $30 shipping and i was also including controllers that were game specific as well, oh yeah plus a Creative sound card with the old style game connection for the older controllers that i was including. Still have that box full of games and controllers, had 2 sound cards and sold them for $45. Some things just aren’t worth the time it takes to list them let alone worry about them selling and then the time it takes to ship them. All for what? $1 in your pocket when it’s done?

Just my thoughts i could be way off.
