Or am I just missing it somehow? I discovered the reason I’m barely moving any product on this site is because there isn’t a category for cell phones. When I imported from eBay and Amazon I just assumed the items would populate in the cell phones category. No wonder no one can find my items :/

I had a quick look at your listings and they appear very searchable. You have great key words, all the required attributes, and clear images. Those are things that search engines love. If you are not already, we would suggest going to your “Sell on Bonanza > Advertise Items” page and take advantage of all of the different channels we offer to advertise your items.
We did remove the mobile phone category (along with some others) some time ago for many reasons, the most popular being that Amazon already does a great job with mobile phones. Most buyers find your items via search engines. Whether that is Bonanza’s search engine, Google, Bing, etc. Here is a link to a resourceful page on increasing your sales on Bonanza. It is updated regularly and has some great [URL removed] [URL removed]

I don’t sell mobile phones (I mean, unless I happen to get one that I want to sell – haha), but I am finding this answer confusing and it concerns me as it could apply to other categories. The category for mobile phones was removed because another site does a great job with them? I think that must be worded poorly or something? I mean, Amazon also does a great job with books, and yet Bonanza still has a category for books. I don’t understand…
Surely I don’t need to worry that items here will have to be mis-categorized or proper categories will disappear because somewhere else is better? I know that can’t be what was meant, so could you clarify?

Bonanza removed the mobile phone sub category along with the variation option such as color; is no longer a feature. Dear Bonanza, we need it, please. Thank you.

If you are going to remove the phone category the least you can do is have a blog, webpage or article of some kind explaining to sellers how to sell cellphones or any other removed category on bonanza if it is not against bonanzas terms to sell these items. I see other sellers are selling mobile phones so I dont think its against the terms, and As a seller of cellphones myself I am now worried that Bonanaza is pointless to me. I do not use Amazon, eBay, I am using Bonanaza alone to see how this site individually helps me as a seller and if there is no clear way of me using me inventory here how would I know what will work, what will get results, etc.
