Amazon login & pay seller acct & connecting to bonanza

I have a new Amazon seller acct and thought I could connect Bonanza to it. When I go to my Bonz Seller settings to connect my Amazon acct, it does take me to Amazon, but starts me at registering for a seller acct. There’s nowhere for me to login and connect Bonz with my current seller acct.

Do I have to open a separate Amazon Seller Acct that is dedicated to Bonanza in order to connect?

Thanks!

Did you follow these directions…

[URL removed]

Once you return to bonz after set-up everything is complete

Please note an Amazon sellers account is not the same as connecting Amazon Payments (the seller account is not connected to checkout..amazon payments is what is connected to bonz)

Yes, I’ve followed those instructions. I had Amazon Payments already, and I’ve opened an Amazon Payments Merchant Acct, which took me through opening a Seller’s Account, which has given me access to Seller’s Central.

Went to my Seller’s Dashboard—>Booth Settings—>Payment Options. Checked Amazon Payments. Then under Amazon Payments besides Merchant ID I clicked Connect an Amazon Payments account.

I am taken to the same registration page at Amazon that I used to create my first merchants account. Do I have to open a Separate Account that will only be used for Bonanza?

you will have to ask bonz..I already had CBA, and the set up is different…

Ok, thanks CCMom!

If you have already set up an account, then go through the steps in the link above..it should integrate…to the site..you have to get the Return to Bonanza button at amazon for it to work

Did not work, CCMom. Have emailed Support. Thanks!

Came back to let everyone know that I was able to connect my Amazon Payments acct, that I created before I made this post, to Bonanza afterall. Had been writing to hear from Support, but hadn’t yet, so decided to try it once more, and click on through, hoping that I’d be able to backtrack if I DID have to create a separate acct.

Once I got into the process on Amazon, by clicking through from my Bonz payments page, I was given the opportunity to connect to an existing Amaz Sellers acct, or create a new one (which I didn’t want to do). I selected use an existing acct. All I had to do along the way was add my full legal name, and the process did the rest, including creating an acct or merchant number for Bonanza.

Then, instead of clicking the Amazon links to associate a payment method and provide tax info (I’d already done that when I created my Amaz Sellers acct.), I clicked the “Return To Bonanza Marketplace” button, as I’d been instructed to do at my Bonz payments page. I was taken directly back to Bonz and told that my acct had been associated with my Amaz Sellers Acct. So it’s good!

It IS confusing when from Bonz Payments page you are told that you will be taken to Amaz to create an acct. It should alert you, at Bonz, that you will have the option to create a new Amaz acct or associate an old one.

Thanks again for all of your help and suggestions.
