Hello,
I’m a first time user, and unfortunately I would like to cancel a transaction. The seller and I both agree on the terms, but they are worried that issuing refunds will harm their seller rating and cause bonanza to temporarily block their account. I don’t want this to happen, because the seller and I have been in communication and the items have not shipped yet. Is there a way around the problem so that the seller can get credit for being an understanding seller, rather than penalized for issuing a refund?

Unlike other sites….this is not an issue here.
The seller is the only one that can cancel the sale. To do so the seller simply refunds you and then requests a refund of their final value fees.

Yes , there should be no problem cancelling the transaction as both of you have agreed to this . As for actually canceling the transaction , go to “My Booth” on the top left , once on my booth go back to the top left and scroll down till you see “Fees” tab . Once in the fees tab scroll down and at the bottom of your transaction you will see a link to “Reqeust a Refund on This Bill” . Once there find the transaction and request refund and your done .

As above, Bonanza is so much better about this sort of thing. No harm will come to either of you. I love this site. :)

They are pretty easy going on this site, unlike other sites where they weigh sellers down with rules, that is not done here. They will not have a problem.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
